Project Objective: Increasing treatment access to Drug Resistant Tuberculosis “DR-TB” in
private sector institutions.
Goal: PMDT Guidelines 2021 implemented across the target states and there is continuous
improvement in DR-TB Service Delivery by NTEP
Objective:
(i) Building capacity among the HCPs in private sector institutions for providing
appropriate treatment to DR-TB patients through continuous training programs.
(ii) Establishing proper linkage between the private sector institutions under NTEP, for
providing better access to newer drugs to treat DR-TB patients.
Intervention Geography:
- 20 Private Sector Institutions and Public Institutions under NTEP.
- Thane, Nagpur, Pune.
