Rajesh Bharatiya

Rajesh Bharatiya, MPH, is a dedicated and experienced public health professional currently serving as the State Lead for Karnataka in the TB Mukth Panchayat Project under Union Southeast Asia (USEA), funded by JSW Foundation. With a background as a Technical Officer at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, and prior roles with the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases, he has actively contributed to advancing tobacco control and public health initiatives. Rajesh brings a wealth of knowledge and skills, including program management, health promotion, and training, coupled with a strong commitment to community well-being. His expertise extends to diverse roles, from being a Divisional Coordinator in Karnataka to serving as a District Epidemiologist under the National Health Mission Integrated Disease Surveillance Program. Rajesh’s passion for public health is evident in contributing to research articles on topics such as COVID-19 surveillance and occupational health hazards. Rajesh holds a Master of Public Health (Epidemiology) from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education. His dynamic skill set, leadership qualities, and community-focused approach make him a valuable asset in the field of public health.
